THDC Ltd, also known as Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Limited, is a public sector undertaking (PSU) in India. It was incorporated in July 1988 as a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
The primary objective of THDC Ltd is the development, operation, and maintenance of hydroelectric power projects. It focuses on harnessing the hydroelectric potential of the Himalayan rivers in the northern part of India. THDC Ltd is responsible for the planning, construction, and operation of these hydroelectric projects.
