Ministry of shipping, Govt. of India, New Mangalore Port is a modern all-weather port situated at Panambur, Mangalore (Karnataka State in South India), on the West Coast of India, 170 nautical miles South of Mormugao & 191 nautical miles North of Cochin Port. NMPT has invited applications from the eligible candidates for 23 posts as Assistant Traffic Inspectors.

Class : III

Total Vacancies : 23 Posts (SC-03 ; ST-02 ; OBC-06 ; UR-12 (Ex-Serviceman-02)

Upper Age Limit (as on 01.07.2014) : 35 Years

1. Graduation from any Recognized University (UGC/AICTE Recognized) .
2. Computer Knowledge is desirable.
3. Knowledge of Kannada is desirable.
4. Maximum age limit is 35 years for general category.
5. Others:
   1. Candidate must be a resident of Karnataka (enclose copy of documentary evidence viz. Ration Card/Voter Identity Card)
   2. Candidate must passed SSLC/10th Standard in Karnataka (Copy to be enclosed)
   3. Candidate must posses Live Employment Exchange registration in Karnataka before 1st September – 2014 (enclose copy of the employment registration Card)
