Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited [MESCOM] invites applications for the recruitment of various positions in all the MESCOM units. The recruitment process of MESCOM will be done through the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited [KPTCL]. It is advised that to apply only one Electricity Supplying Company including KPTCL and other ESCOMs. All the below vacancies in this recruitment will be for Non-Hyderabad Karnataka Region only and so, candidates from any part of Karnataka are eligible to apply for MESCOM jobs.

ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical)
    1. Education : BE/B.Tech Pass (Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering) or AMIE (India) (Section A & B Electrical) examination
  2. Assistant Engineer (Electrical)
    1. Education : BE/B.Tech Pass (Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering) or AMIE (India) (Section A & B Electrical) examination or equivalent
  3. Assistant Engineer (Civil)
    1. Education : BE/B.Tech Pass (Civil Engineering) or AMIE (India) (Section A & B Civil) examination or equivalent
  4. Junior Engineer (Civil)
    1. Education : Diploma in Civil Engineering Pass or Polytechnic of State of Karnataka
  5. Junior Personal Assistant
    1. Education : SSLC or 10th Standard Pass AND
    2. Should have passed Senior Grade Typewriting and Senior Grade Shorthand Examinations in Kannada & English conducted by KSEEB OR
    3. Should have passed Diploma in Secretarial Practice / Commercial Practice with Kannada & English Shorthand and Kannada & English Typewriting as optional(elective) subjects granted by Board of Technical Education in Karnataka
  6. Driver
    1. Education : SSLC or 10th Standard Pass AND
    2. Should have Heavy Vehicle Driving License (HMV) and should have minimum 3 years experience in driving heavy motor vehicles as on last date of application submission
    3. Minimum Height : 160 Cms AND Weight : 50 KGs required
    4. Knowledge of Kannada Reading & Writing is essential
  7. Junior Power man (Junior Lineman)
    1. Education : SSLC or 10th Standard Pass AND
    2. Knowledge of Kannada Reading & Writing is essential
    3. Physical fitness should be good

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ABOVE EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (Except Driver & Junior Power man (Junior Lineman) Posts)

  1. General Merit Candidates : Minimum 60% Marks
  2. Cat.1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B Candidates : Minimum 50% Marks
  3. SC / ST Candidates : Pass Class
  4. Note: The above percentage calculation is based on marks secured in All the Years if Annual Basis OR All the Semesters if Semester Basis

AGE LIMITS (As on 04.04.2019)

  1. Minimum Age : 18 Years
  2. Maximum Age :
    1. GM Candidates : 35 Years
    2. OBC Candidates : 38 Years
    3. SC/ST Candidates : 40 Years
