Govt. of Karnataka, Department of Forest (Aranya Elakhe) has re-invited online applications from the eligible candidates for the posts of Deputy Range Forest  Officers (DRFO) cum Surveyors under direct recruitment process. Eligible candidates may read the notification carefully before applying to the Deputy Range Forest Officers (DRFO) Posts and proceed with applying for the posts in Forest Department.

1. Educational Qualification : Must be BSc. (Forestry) or Bachelor Degree in Science Pass (If BSc. graduates must studied any two following subjects in each semesters : Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botony, Zoology, Geology, Micro Biology, Bio-Technology, Bio-Chemistry)
2. AGE LIMITS
   1. Minimum Age                                 : 18 years (Born On or before 10.04.1999)
   2. Maximum Age :
      1. General Merit (GM)             : 25 Years (Born On or before 10.04.1992)
      2. Categories 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B   : 28 Years (Born On or before 10.04.1989)
      3. SC/ST, Cat-I                           : 30 Years (Born On or before 10.04.1987)

1. SC, ST, Cat-I, Ex Servicemen    : Rs.40 (Rs.25+Rs.15)

SELECTION PROCESS

1. Step 1: Merit list will be prepared with 1:20 ratio (1 Post=20 Applicants)
2. Step 2: Verification of Original Documents
3. Step 3: Physical Standards Test
4. Step 4: Physical Fitness Test
5. Step 5: Physical Competency Test
6. Step 6: Written Aptitude Test
7. Selection : Final Merit list will be prepared by calculating 50%  marks from Aptitude Test’s result + 50% marks from eligibility examination (i.e., BSc. Forestry/BSc.) result
