Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) is a state-owned enterprise responsible for the construction and operation of the metro system in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. It was established in 2005 as a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Karnataka.
BMRCL is responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and operating the Bangalore Metro. The metro system, also known as Namma Metro, is aimed at providing a sustainable and efficient mode of public transportation in Bangalore to alleviate traffic congestion and improve connectivity within the city.
