Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) has invited online applications for the Junior Station Assistants (JSA) in KPTCL and Junior Line Man (JLM) posts in BESCOM, MESCOM, CESCOM, HESCOM AND GESCOM.

   1. Junior Line Man (JLM) – 1238 Posts + 37 Posts for Hyderabad-Karnataka Region Candidates
3. Gulbarga Power Supply Company Limited (GESCOM) : 1213 Posts

Eligibilty Qualification:

1. SSLC/ 10th Standard Pass from Karnataka State
2. Knowledge of Reading & Writing in Kannada Language
3. Satisfactory Eye-sight is required.
4. Satisfactory physical fitness is required.

Selection Procedure:

1. Candidates must pass/ clear the endurance below tests:
   1. 100 mtr race (running) : 14 seconds
   2. Skipping : 50 time in one minute
   3. Shot put (12 pounds) : 8 mtr throw (3 chances)
   4. Climbing Electric pole : 8 mtr high (compulsory)
   5. 800 mtr race : 3 minutes
2. Note: Candidates must clear Climbing Electric pole and ANY TWO tests above to get eligibilty.

Important Note:

1. One candidate can apply for ANY ONE company or corporation only
2. Endurance Test will be conducted at the same time in KPTCL and All Power Supply Companies.

AGE LIMITS:

1. Minimum Age to apply to above posts is should be 18 years completed as on 02.07.2015
2. Maximum Ages are:
   1. General Category : 35 Years
   2. Cat-2A,  2B, 3A & 3B : 38 Years
   3. SC, ST & Cat-1 : 40 Years

Application Fees:

1. General, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B : Rs.200
2. SC/ST : Rs.100
